The components of the vitamin B complex are vital for a bird as part of the enzyme systems that catalyze the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins (transformation of carbohydrates into lipids).
 
 Usually the amounts of vitamin B present in vitamin complexes such as Nekton S are sufficient, but in periods of greater stress the needs for vitamin B increase and it is necessary to use a specific vitamin complex. Vitamin B deficiency can lead to different reactions: overexcitability, muscle contractions, uncoordinated movements, etc.
 
Indications: Administer during periods or situations of greater stress. Especially indicated during breeding, competitions and exhibitions and after treatment with antibiotics and sulphonamides, since the use of medications reduces the availability of B vitamins.
 
Dosage: Canaries and the like: half a teaspoon per day per bird mixed in the water or in soft food (breeding paste, etc). Parrots and the like: a daily teaspoon. Parrots: 1 to 2 teaspoons depending on size.
 
Composition per kg: Thiamine (B1) 1500 mg, Riboflavin (B2) 3400 mg, Niacinamide 30000 mg, D-pantothenic acid 10000 mg, Vitamin B6 3400 mg, Vitamin B12 10500 mcg, Folic acid 500 mg.
